Her name is R'Mya DeMarrco, AKA; Lyricallashea. Lyrical began her musical journey in 2009 as a senior in high school, she recorded her first song on cakewalk and fell in love with the way her voice sounded on a track. Taking the time to prefect her style and flow, she spent the next two years networking and establishing relationships and began recording in 2011.

“I didn’t even start off as a rapper. I’m a writer at heart. I wrote my first book when i was seven, i won a writing contest in the 6th grade, and had a poem published in Magnolias High School poetry journal 2007- 2008. While working on her first releases, she was also performing a series of features with a variety of artist. Through my music, I fell in love with performing and the thrill of being on stage in front of countless amounts of people, once I realized how comfortable I was engaging and entertaining, I expanded the skill into modeling, and found that I loved performing in front of people.
Not just a rapper, but now also an aspiring model, Lyrical has been featured in five music videos; “Run me my money” by AV LMKR, “If These Walls Could Talk” Kaynine The Boss and “Jelly Roll” Mayne Trip featuring Airez Orleans, “Molly Water” by Duce the Don and “Only Remix” by Mobb Marley, Cryogenic and my own video titled; “Lyric”. In front of the camera, she feels the feeling expressed in my lyrics can be found in her photos, each pose accompanied by a different emotion. “I mean modeling goes hand in hand with my carrier as an artist, in the entertainment business they are continuously having their picture taken, and I want to be as prepared as I can be. Not to mention it helps build brand awareness and to establish an audience”.
HERE IS THE BEST PART! In February 2016, R’Mya DeMarrco made her commitment to God, obeying and displaying the “love found in the Word and honoring the Word made flesh thru Christ, for our sins as an atonement for her salvation. She is a Christian and a Christ's is who she belongs to. “Its not just a label to identify with, its a mentality, its action, its love. Think about if everyone loved each other, there would be far fewer issues in the world”.
Her goals as a Hip Hop artist are to spread the word of God thru her Music, by uplifting and healing the common people, by building brand awareness, and making her music profitable. She also wants to become a published author, using that platform to promote confidence, and perseverance. “I will say this to my fans, Im very grateful for each of you taking the time to listen to my music, or viewing my pictures and videos, without your support, I could not dream to accomplish all that I have, or hope to reach even greater heights.”
She also adds, “My message to you is to do what your comfortable with, don’t let naysayers hinder your creativity or productivity. Know your goals and work towards them every day, and don’t forget to pray. Stick with me to the top and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
