We are proud of our UK / Spain division, and it's new signing of Verónica Rodríguez Rubio. Veronica is a multi talent in that she does a bit of everything. We will be hosting some of her music toward our licensing opportunities, and we expect to be bringing her production to the forfront.
She was born in Cangas del Narcea (Asturias, España) in 1981, where she began her piano studies at the age of seven, to which she later added french horn, trumpet, and bodhran.
She finished her conservatory studies in french horn at the Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco (Musikene) and within the classical world she had the opportunity to play and be part of great orchestras such as the Barcelona and National Symphony Orchestra of Catalonia (O.B.C.) or the BIOS Orchestra.
In the world of jazz, she trained with great jazz musicians such as Marco Martínez, Jacobo de Miguel, Cesar Latorre or Xose Miguélez.
Vero currently participates in various groups of different styles ranging from rock, folk, and jazz, a style in which she focuses her studies; combining her work as an instrumentalist with groups such as the Orquesta Céltica Asturiana, Sonámbulos, Magdalene Blue, Improviso and Cai4 Quartet, with her facet as a composer and arranger, as well as a pedagogical and brass teacher.
